Music Bees are holistic singing and music-making classes for little ones and their grown-ups!
Founded in 2017 by Amber Jolene, singer-songwriter, educational music session provider, and busy mum of two, each class is a joyful, sensory-rich adventure. Inspired by the Kodály approach, sessions include beloved nursery rhymes, original ukulele songs, traditional folk songs, live ukulele music, unusual instruments to explore, props, bubbles, and the ever-popular Bumble Bear. Every activity is designed with love to get your little bees buzzing!
Regular music sessions help little ones develop language and cognitive skills, social confidence, self-esteem, and their natural musicality. Singing and making music together strengthens the parent-child bond, supports emotional development, and nurtures creativity, memory, and emotional intelligence. Gentle repetition and familiar songs help babies anticipate what comes next, building confidence and supporting early learning.
Music Bees offers three different classes tailored to key developmental stages, ensuring activities are age-appropriate and supportive as children grow. From a holistic perspective, music engages mind, body, and spirit through movement, rhythm, and playful exploration, helping children become confident, curious, and connected little humans.
Amber is fully insured and holds a current Enhanced DBS certificate.
Tiny Bees
(Newborn to Pre-Crawlers)
A calm, nurturing first music experience for you and your baby.
Tiny Bees introduces newborns to music and singing in a gentle, supportive environment. Sessions focus on early bonding, listening, and communication, using gentle songs and simple Makaton signing to support language development from the very beginning.
This class is also a chance for parents to connect with other local mums, relax, and enjoy a warm, welcoming space.

Baby Bees
(sitting up to crawlers)
Exploring music as your baby grows.
Baby Bees is a gentle, exploratory music class for babies who are sitting up independently but not yet walking. Sessions encourage curiosity, listening skills, and early musical awareness through singing, sound-making, simple Makaton signing and sensory musical play.
Activities are carefully paced to suit this developmental stage, allowing babies to engage confidently while parents support and join in.

Toddler Bees
(Walkers up to 3 years)

Toddler Bees is a lively, interactive music class for toddlers up to 3 years old. Sessions combine singing, movement, listening games, and hands-on instrument play, supporting physical coordination, language development, and early musical understanding.
Classes are energetic yet structured, giving toddlers freedom to explore while developing focus and turn-taking skills.

Party Time with Music Bees
Music Bees offers music-based birthday parties for children and professional DJ services.
Music Bees birthday parties are built around interactive music classes with parental involvement. These sessions are adapted from regular classes and focus on music, rhythm, movement, and shared participation between children and their grown-ups.
This is a structured music session in a party setting — ideal for families looking for a meaningful musical experience rather than traditional children’s entertainment.
Amber is a professional DJ & all bookings include a full PA system and party lighting, with age-appropriate music and professional sound quality.

Ukulele Lessons
Amber offers private beginner ukulele lessons for both children and adults, taught in the comfort of your own home. Weekly 30-minute sessions are available in Redhill and the surrounding areas, with lessons booked and paid for in advance in 6-week termly blocks.
Amber also occasionally runs pop-up ukulele classes and short courses—perfect for those looking to learn in a fun, relaxed group setting.

Afterschool Music Clubs
Amber runs fun, engaging after-school music clubs in the Redhill area, including Ukulele for Years 3–6 (KS2) and Music & Movement for Reception–Year 2 (KS1). Full of singing, rhythm, and playful exploration, her clubs help children build confidence, musical skills, and a love of music.
